Humble suggestion to speed up elections. All parties agree ahead of time what coalitions they would join, what policies would be followed. Then (a) we know what we’re voting for and (b) no drawn out negotiations. At the moment it just peters out, if you know what I mean. #nzpol

Given that trains cross level-crossings at scheduled times, why not require all motorists to file driving plans ahead of time. Then a cloud app can manage everything and pffft no more traffic jams.

My brother-in-law lived in Thorndon ten years or so ago. He started putting fruit out for the kākā each afternoon. They noticed, told their whānau, and soon there were a dozen or so waiting each day.
