Spending my morning carving at mostly cured resin to attempt to make a campfire that can light up. I've only stabbed myself twice so far. That's pretty damn good for me.

Behold, the mess of carved up chunks as I attach them back together, hoping it's not all for nothing. 🤣

Took my Dad's middle name, which he hated, & am using it as the last name for my pen name for my romance series as a funny. Stopped by the cemetery yesterday to inform him. 🤣 Let's hope mom forgets my pen name ASAP, though. I could do w/out her church praying for my soul b/c I write monster smut.
Text conversation: Me: "Told Dad I made a funny with his middle name for him." Mom: "Lol. He would have laughed." Me: "Cody thought it was pretty funny." Mom: "I think its funny too. And it's a great pen name." Me: "Thanks. Just don't search for it once I've published. LMAO"
