@eljojo if you use a flexidesk or an ikea: there are esp32 projects to link the desk directly to HA, you can even remote trigger the motors. Depends on the exact model you have.

@nerdy.dev yeah, the air is a bad device. Nobody I know who got one kept it. It’s full of compromises. And the reason for the compromises is “novelty” 🫣

I now watched episode 2 of #starfleetacademy, and OMG. This is old-school abelistic shit. The deaf person has a translator to translate his sign language to others but is assumed to be able to lip-read everything. For sure a deaf person does not need someone signing to them 🤬.
