Why do employers straight up fib saying they'll be in touch but they just ghost you? A bit unprofessional imo.
Not to mention all the red flag I keep spotting; am I at an interview or on one of those dates where the guy gets pissy if I mention taking time away with other people?

I even had a conversation with a family member about this last night which feels scarily coincidental but is starting to feel like a sign.
Talking about how things used to be, and not enjoying certain things as much as we used to, e.g. video games.

Also! I'm not immune to the Nostalgic Feels!
Understanding Nostalgia is "remembering without pain" and isn't "things in the past were better" is a huge mental shift we can all work on!

I've honestly noticed this not long ago. I'm at that point in my life where I'm gaming less and reading more. I know it's easy to panic when things we used to love don't have as big a spark as they used to, but I just see it as a sign of much needed change, in pursuit of brand new passions.
Nostalgia is very often used as an excuse to not enjoy new things.
The experiences and places you have loved in the past are going to change, and staying rooted in the "Good Ole Days" is a one way ticket to wishing your life away.
