One of those mornings where everybody just brings me fires to put out and at least 75% of the fires are because they did something wrong because it was less work than doing it the right way, and doing it the right way would have eaten into the time for discussing the Pixar connected universe

So yeah this works great with 6” scale figures. If you were so inclined you could probably use rubbing alcohol to remove the text. Great little throne for the price.

Was not expecting just how huge Fanshobby Skyquake was going to be. Easily the nicest of their TFCon exclusives. Really don’t think the inevitable Machine Wars Starscream will look anywhere near as good as this

Took kiddo to see her first movie in theaters today. Unfortunately we didn’t even make it to Soda Pop before she got bored and wanted to leave, but we gave it a shot!

It’s Halloween and of course that means a rewatch of one of my favorite bits of spooky media, the Inside No 9 special: Deadline. A really ambitious episode that would not have worked on streaming, Pemberton and Shearsmith really made the most of the Live TV environment to play with the audience

Oh yeah he also includes a club which sucks, and his gun can mount in his hand if you want it to look really stupid. Also last month he cost $35 and now he costs $43 for literally no good reason so don’t buy him because that’s ridiculous. Especially for a repaint.

He’s just Starscream with new colors and a new weapon. The weapon is much better, and his colors are much nicer. Also Thundercracker is just the best of the original seekers and I’m not taking feedback on that. It’s a lovely blue, and really makes the orange pop nicely

Studio Series Gamer Thundercracker is a figure I think will be the most slept on of the year. He came out right before Voyagers got stupidly expensive, and shared a case with the drastically more desirable Mixmaster. Is it super accurate? No. Is it very accurate? Also no. But I like him.

This might be pushing the limits of what can realistically be called a deskbot. But, with a belly full of thumb drives, he’s not just a fun decorative piece, he’s functional office equipment.

Oh yeah and this guy got here. After stacking discounts and some gift cards from work I got this guy for less than the price of a leader out of pocket. Yeah, he’s alright. Mine was missing the baggie with the orb and the bullet which sucks (HasTak QC stay winning) but I’ve emailed Hasbro for parts 🤞

This is the third time I have owned Earthrise Wheeljack and I think I’m finally happy with it. The extra deco apps elevate it over the 5-pack, while keeping the toon style I prefer over Earthrise’s detailing. The new blaster is a nice bonus, but feels a little big.

Probably not one that will be the highlight of the set for many, but toy Magnus is an absolute gem to me. Back in the early 90s, a beaten up inner robot with no fists was my first exposure to Transformers, I thought it was the coolest thing ever and I was hooked instantly. This feels very special.

Horribull was the only major draw of this set for me, so many thanks to @aimdsouthataria.bsky.social for splitting one with me. That said, never experienced this mold before and it’s a bit of a banger with a transformation that makes you go “huh, that’s clever”. Doesn’t hurt that it’s a looker too.

These lads are pretty good. Never really cared for Superion before, it was actually Skybound that made me want them. Unreal how much more stable these things are with the frames

Got a little case for my Defender series bots, they look really nice and they stack, but Wave 4 is the only set I’ve got right now. 1-3 are on the way. Bummer I didn’t pull the Burning Rodimus but I’ll take the fancy boy Grimlock for sure!
