More later but I'm having a good time- this game is hitting- BUT one last bit: I love how the VO and the direction is not in any way bad at all, but actually hammy in a kind of dramatic play type way and it's actually really pleasant lol

Another year, another visit to Dark Souls for achievements I never bothered with as an excuse to play. Miracles suck. Except for Darkmoon Blade.

8. Speaking of cornerstone, but also speaking of one of the (still IMO) underrated, well designed, stunningly crafted games is undoubtedly Resident Evil Remake. Especially on a Gamecube with a CRT. This game is perfect. Taking a franchise in such short time to these heights is awe-inspiring.

7. Yeah if you've know me a while you know Gears of War is like, a damn cornerstone of my existence as it is today. This game got me here. I have 9k hours in FFXIV and it still doesn't scratch the surface of the schoolday afternoons I dedicated to playing this game, and I'd run it any day.

7. Yeah if you've know me a while you know Gears of War is like, a damn cornerstone of my existence as it is today. This game got me here. I have 9k hours in FFXIV and it still doesn't scratch the surface of the schoolday afternoons I dedicated to playing this game, and I'd run it any day.
6. SORRY IM BACK LIFE IS WILD Spyro the Dragon is one of the tightest games dude. I love 2 and 3 is a bit weird but Spyro 1 is very much what I'd consider a perfect game. It plays amazing, they nailed the environments, Stewart Copeland the GOAT on the OST- adore this game, played it dozens of times!

5. Burnout Paradise. One of the most unique racing games w/ some of the coolest online functionality at the time. Peak Criterion for me (Most Wanted was OK). Spent so much time doing challenges and trading time trial placings with the homies. Such smart, fluid map design. Always wished for another!

3. Command and Conquer. Formative. Be it early online PC gaming, realizing quickly that I really enjoyed not just RTS but the concept of games as a strategic puzzle- I love so much of this franchise. I'm posting this version, though, since it's kind of a cryptid and the first I'd played!
