I had friends who didn’t work, lived off government assistance of many kinds, but found it easy to rail against others. The common thread, the others were always a darker shade of toast. I loved pointing that out to them to the point where they blocked me.

It’s close to the generic Hot Wheels car on the packaging from their first few years. Now if I could get that same car for 68cents I’d be happy.

There is a scenic overlook south of Duluth called Veteran’s Evergreen Memorial Park. It overlooks Jay Cooke State Park but it’s so overgrown now you basically have to stand on the circular retaining walls to get a view.
