It indeed seems impossible to support the present government in any way and remain a disciple of Jesus. Resistance at every level appears to be a key Gospel mandate. In times like these courage is hard to come by except by the grace of God.

If one lived in an authoritarian fascist nation would it be immoral to follow laws that did harm to minorities and to weak nations.? If so, would it also be immoral to give support to the enforcement of said laws?

Judge Hannah Dugan by her courageous action has modeled God's love. This woman has put herself at risk in an effort to protect a child of God from injustice and persecution. Her prophetic response to the Gospel is one that all people of good will should support and prayerfully consider emulating.
