I think one can be a super-competent person and not a super-competent politician. That distinction is not misogynistic. Many people including myself judged them to be underwhelming politicians. Taken in totality, I strongly suspect they were both super-competent human beings overall.

I’m personally not interested in receiving any lion’s share of credit for victories, and I’m not interested in “using” any good faith allies. I’m interested in remaining a democracy.

Never Trumpers have shared your view of MAGA since 2015, but since they don’t share it in th exact way you share it, they can “ride shotgun”.

Way to build that coalition, buddy.
