Bugonia (2025)

I didn't like this movie, and it's entirely because of the twist. An enjoyable theater experience, but don't expect a rewatch from me any time soon. letterboxd.com/bisexualkaij...

White Zombie (1932)

One of most unique and haunting films I've watched. Both a stunning masterpiece of editing and atmosphere and a prime example of Hollywood's exoticization of voodoo. letterboxd.com/bisexualkaij...

The Collector (2009)

An underseen and underrated slasher from 2009, prepare for one of the most terrifying experiences you'll ever put yourself through. TW for animal death. letterboxd.com/bisexualkaij...

X: The Man With The X-Ray Eyes (1963)

A beautifully-shot sci-fi horror film with a good Ray Milland performance and a good premise, sadly brought down by the shoddy character writing. letterboxd.com/bisexualkaij...

Tales From The Crypt: Demon Knight (1995)

A true 90s gem that deserves to be watched at least once in your life! Billy Zane as the Collector must be seen to be believed. letterboxd.com/bisexualkaij...

Good Boy (2025)

An incredible achievement for indie horror featuring the best dog actor I've ever seen. It deserves every rave review it's getting.

The Seventh Curse (1986)

One of the wildest Hong Kong films I've ever seen. This is a pulpy action-horror film with an impressive selection of monsters and wonderful action set-pieces. High recommend. letterboxd.com/bisexualkaij...

Nightbeast (1982)

I didn't like this one as much as The Alien Factor, but I still had a great time. There's nothing quite like a sincerely-made B-movie with rubber monsters.

The Boogens (1981)

One of the most Canadian films ever made. It's a slow burn, but it's worth it. This is an amazing pick for a hangout movie, and the monsters are no slouch. Also features one of the greatest dog actors ever.

Just Before Dawn (1981)

A backwoods slasher that predates most films like Wrong Turn and the like. Incredibly scary killers and atmosphere. You will be tense the whole way through!

Tourist Trap (1979)

One of the most creative slasher films in history. It's creepy as all Hell and carries a surprise supernatural twist in a movie that overall plays it 100% grimy and realistic.

Stage Fright (1987)

Speaking of Italian horror, this is one of the greatest slasher films I have ever seen. An owl-headed killer stalks and kills the cast and crew of a stage production. Super gorgeous and bloody!

The Church (1989)

Italian horror at its finest. It's got sex! It's got gore! It's got body horror! It's got religious cosmic horror! Just about everything you want!

Whatever you do, don't look up anything about this movie. Just go and stream it. Watch it. It's a complete masterpiece.

The Kindred (1987)

This special effects feature also spotlights one of the craziest plots I've ever seen. And yet, it's a full five stars from me!

Lake Placid (1999)

Featuring some incredible actors in the cast and gorgeous special effects courtesy of Stan Winston, this 1999 B-movie is a great Halloween party pick.

Mr. Vampire (1985)

A horror-comedy Hong Kong classic! Featuring the famous hopping vampires of Chinese mythology, this film is pure delight on every scene.

Madman (1981)

This underrated slasher follows the legend of Madman Marz and the fate of those unlucky souls who wander in his woods. Excellent gore effects and a fun film! Big autumn vibes too.

The House With Laughing Windows (1976)

One of the strangest giallos ever made! The atmosphere is rancid in the best possible way, and you will never guess the angle this film is going for.
October 6, 2025 at 4:15 PM
The Deadly Spawn (1983)

Another pure labor of love! You will not believe the sheer quality of monsters in this one from the low budget. It also features some actually smart characters for once!
October 6, 2025 at 4:12 PM
The Alien Factor (1978)

Not to confuse you with the previous film, this sci-fi B movie is a labor of love with a microscopic budget yet some of the best aliens put to celluloid. Not to mention an incredible soundtrack!
October 6, 2025 at 4:10 PM
Metamorphosis: The Alien Factor (1990)

The Fly meets The Thing! This could just be another rip-off, but it's way more than that. The sheer amount of monsters with excellent designs make this film a perfect watch.
