Sooo, I'm working on a dice box for my Lancer dice.
It's meant to be an NHP casket (basically, think AIs, but they're actually eldritch beings bound to technology).
Up to four d6's can go in the back, and the d20 gets a nice little plinth. =3
I've roughed it out, so now it just needs greebling

Sooo, I'm working on a dice box for my Lancer dice.

I like the look, but painting basically my whole upper torsos a nightmare.
PAX paint on my hands had mixed results (I dusted the hell our of it to seal it, but some of it transferred to my controller). Dunno if that's a normal limit, or made a mistake...

It's an indie metroidvania from a Swedish dev about fighting robot...zombie things as a dryad! I enjoyed the demo so we'll see how this goes!

Not sure about the colour, but it's what I had to hand. I'll try and get ahold of a darker one

Turns out gel nail had me covered. It even sticks to the fabric on its own (there's an air bubble here, but with a bit of practice I've got everything I need)

OK, the left one also cracked, but that's nothing a bit more glue and plaster can't fix. Just a bit of sanding and a layer of varnish and we're all set!

Here's the process for the left ear in a bit more detail; 1. Heat gun the base so it sticks down, 2. Petroleum jelly! 3. Foam board and glue gun walls! 4. Alginate and plaster cast

One down! It snapped in the mould as I was removing it, but a bit of glue and some plaster to smooth the cracks fixed it well enough.

Close enough. I've gone and bulked up the bases and filled in the deeper crevices to make taking a cast easier!
