I’m dealing with all this for my 89 year old mother and it’s a daunting task. It’s so confusing trying to decipher what is paid, partially paid or not covered at all.

Most elderly in nursing homes are on Medicaid …at least in my area. Medicare does not pay for nursing home care unfortunately.

I hope they prepare all the 80 and 90 year old nursing home patients that they’ll soon be picking up vegetables instead of lazing around the facility all day.
