Character Movement. an Alpha Value of "Acceleration" and "Deceleration" was used in the code but no values were ever assigned to this, same with "Speed" so once all the movement code was wrapped up and "You can move your character now" was said... you couldn't cause of this

Mouse Movement. I had to add a signal. The Console would be updating with the values however visually nothing would change. As soon as I added a signal I could visually move the camera around as well

by going Mesh > Create Collision Shape. I change Trimesh to Simplified Convex. Now this does actually add a node but its different to the node when you add it yourself. We can also toggle the MeshInstance3D and see whats been created as well

Lets start of with the first some optimizations! adding a collision shape node and then setting the shape is less performant as there is always going to be calculations running to make sure the two nodes - character and collision - are synced up. How do we solve this? ...

and thats really how it goes for my day to day that im not work. I wake up, I walk the dog once or twice a day, I watch youtube, I might play a bit of games even though im not good at them, I read (weeb books) a bit and thats it.

Like idk what to do with my life tbh

Which is funny cause I work part time, so I do have a lot of time on my hands which I just find that I am wasting away not doing anything and puts me into the slightly depressive mood. Like its 4pm as of writing this, ive been up for 8 hours. Ive walked the dog, ive watched a bit of YT. Thats it

it reminds me on how im not good at anything, maybe i should phrase it as i haven't found my thing, but it generally goes im good at XYZ for a couple ABC, then im shit and lose enjoyment from it and no matter how much time i sink into it i never get better

The community is also pretty bad, lots of drama (tbh what do you expect for a cohesion play game) but also they seem to have a "If you know, you know. If you don't, get lost" mentality. Basically if you have played the game for a long time you are "in" if you aren't go and suffer

While the tool tips are okay for a lot of the game, there is still a lot of work to be done on them, simplifying them and also making them more "human" as well. Not everyone has a PhD in Mathematics...

TBH thats something more companies should look at doing and thats hiring students in their final years to do project work within their companies, 'cheap' labor and it also helps build their CV even if you (the company) don't take them on - Paving the Road for the Future Employee's

I have an idea to form a kickstarter once a tech demo has been made in to raise funds, said funds will go to paying students in tertiary school that are doing Arts, Drama, Music and Sound Engineering/Design so we can get all of that clean and sorted and also give them a chance to build their CV!!

Its still in the design works on what we want to do but there have been a number of things we want to test out and maybe use in the game...
