Mostly a lot of Birmingham.
My wife grew up in Montreal. They have proper snow there, from November to April. Montreal is a lot further south than us, we are Newfoundland level. Without AMOC we are going to need a hell of a lot of infrastructure to keep everything clear.

This is my first bird of the day. He's worked out how to use the bird feeder, perhaps he saw the woodpecker do it yesterday. He's incredibly greedy making it easier to get a snap but the little birds are not getting a look in.

Solicitor here. The risk is for the seller until the goods are in the physical possession of the buyer. The buyer does not have a contract with the courier and any sloppy practice from them is not the buyer's problem. Simply contact the seller and tell them to fix it quoting s29 Consumer Rights Act.

COP is, and always has been, just a talking shop. No country is going to do anything for the planet that is detrimental to them. I draw comfort from cold, hard economics. China knows the way forward and we will all follow. All the charts coming out of China give me hope. @ember-energy.org

Don't turn your back on them.

As an aside, I resigned my membership this afternoon.

Hi Stephen, I bought this yesterday. I loved The Stand (more than once!). This new book is so good, I can barely put it down. I love the little views of what's going on around the world as Captain Trips does his worst. Thank you for letting other authors play in the world you created.

Please do point them to this graph with the pale green being wind power to show them that we are using a greater percentage of green power but there's more to do.

According to Wikipedia it would need to be 112m but that would only be as a speck. To be discernible as a coach and horses it would need to several magnitudes bigger.

And it has worked. Barely a flicker.

What I don't get is why No. 10 is not getting investigators in to deep dive the cabinet to find the skeletons and then tidy them up. They need Kalinda Sharma from The Good Wife on the job.

100%. People just want a house to live in that's stable. This is my first house that I bought for £70k in around 2000 with a 100% mortgage. It's nothing special, 2 and half bedrooms with a little garden but I loved this house. It recently sold for £285k. Unaffordable for the me in 2000 now.

Before my time but I've just loaded the ROM into my Batocera. Remarkably playable.

When they catch these blokes, they need to give them some remedial H&S training. Look at the angle on that ladder, shocking.

I'm sorry to be critical but coming from Birmingham we know all about this. You are only doing half a job. You need to cable tie mini flags of St George to each leg. I've asked my favourite AI to assist you.

Here you go. Fill your belly!

Fascinating. I'm a 54 year old inverter and I always thought it was down to the 80s!

There are so many optimistic statistics available to show we are getting there. I checked grid.iamkate.com and it looks fabulous this afternoon.

I loved that game so much. I've been trying to get it to work on Batocera running on a Pi5 but I have so far failed absolutely. Last weekend was trying all sorts of uploads to the file system but no joy. Work continues.
