Dear Shabak, do you realize what you're actually saying? You're arguing that Israel deserves credit because it could have annihilated Gaza even faster, in an even more indiscriminate way, but instead chose a slower, drawn-out destruction.
That's not a defense, it's an indictment.
Invoking the sheer scale of Israel's military power doesn't excuse the staggering civilian death toll, the mass displacement, the targeting of infrastructure that sustains life, or the famine conditions on the ground. 'We could have killed more, but we didn't' is not a moral argument — it's an admission that overwhelming force is being wielded against a trapped population. If the only standard of justification is that total obliteration hasn't YET happened, then the humanity of Palestinians has already been erased in your reasoning.
