My definitive favorite read in years, from a first-time author no less. A collection of short, haunting stories that sings start to finish. Initially found as “horror” recommendation but found it to be so much more. Will be reflecting on this one for ages.

LONGLEGS
Supremely interesting film that I was transfixed by and absolutely adored for the first 3/4 and then ultimately just… kinda liked by the end. The pre-release marketing for this was incredible but unfortunately built a level of hype it couldn’t quite live up to.

Between Two Fires - Kicking off with some horror lit that’s been on the radar for ages. So far a breezy read with the backdrop of a medieval plague and an unholy war. Big, brash dude pairs with prophetic little girl - as expected, pilgrimage and demonic shenanigans ensue.
