One of the worst things about the boring "Oh Alice is madder than a hatter and Wonderland is just her delusion!" interpretation is that there are way better ways to retell Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and/or Through the Looking-Glass in a darker, more twisted light.

So far out of all the Animal Crossing out there I've played Population Growing/the GameCube one, City Folk and New Horizons. They're pretty cool.
