I have a tiny hope that she knew there would be a powersource but she assumed it would be an angel, since at that point she didn’t care about them. But yeah she probably did which is pretty fucked

Yeah I understand wishing we'd seen more (like her and Lucifer talk after it all, or her learning that Angel left), I do too, but I tend to give the benefit of the doubt for things that happened off screen. Also Lucifer could probably not be freed easily/fast so they focused on stopping the laser

I think even the Vaggi dismissal of Lu is more due to condensing the action than to her really not caring. I do really wonder if Carmilla knew though, if she did wtf ma'am, if not showing it to her would have been important

Same with her "not caring" about Angel, I *wish* we'd seen her reaction when she learned he left, that’s a negative, probably due to the limited time, but then we see her talk about it after a time skip and talking to Lilith who doesn’t even know who he is. I'm pretty sure s3 will show her worried

The situations have nearly nothing in common so I guess they just used it as a shorthand for longing and uncertain romance but idk it could easily have been something else and work just as well

Shit I didn’t even catch that... I see what they were going for, showing Val vulnerable and then the comedic contrast when Velvette joins in and they go "we'll still take over all of creation with him and *then* we'll fuck him up", but they could easily have done that with another melody

And we know Sera, and assumedly all high ranking angels, don't understand mortals, so I hope this will become a theme. We'll supposedly meet Molly next season, so I hope through her we'll see more cracks in the perfect facade. The winners we've seen seemed kind of numb, idk...

I think the glimpses we got of Heaven in "Like You" and in the few background shots during Vox's attack, it will need to AT LEAST change to become the great place it's supposed to be. It's stagnant and full of toxic positivity and really not much to do, discotheques, ballpits, for eternity?

With how Heaven was portrayed in "Like You" I think it'll turn out more complicated. Heaven is stagnant and full of toxic positivity. I think Hell *was* created as a jail, and Heaven as the perfect reward, but now they're not as black and white. Winners spend their days playing in ball pits lmao
