Last month Lib Dem’s won more council by-elections than any other party (16)

Yet once again BBC Questiontime doesn’t have a Lib Dem member on its panel, so once again it is a boycott from me

No idea what you mean by this post!

For a majority Govt of 2 parties you need more than Labour 258+57 Lib Dem’s so the numbers weren’t there is a fact

Everything good the Lib Dems managed to achieve was overturned in 2015

Not the number of individual votes but an independent take on Lib Dem performance in by-elections since May 2025 local elections

Lib Dems successfully retaining 93% of their seats they were defending

Lib Dems winning an extra 17 seats in local by-elections since May

LibDems gained a seat from Green Party last Thursday

Lib Dems have won 80% of the 5 declared council by-elections last night with a further 2 results to come

LibDems have gained 3 seats & retained 1

Did they have a seat on BBC Questiontime ? No they did not yet they are the third party in this country

Really Lib Dems also took a seat off of Labour yesterday in Lancashire which is hardly Southern part of country

Changing some of the PM’s advisers would definitely help though

Am not tech savvy enough other than to highlight this article

Have you read George Monbiot article inGuardian yesterday?

Certainly made sense of what is happening for me

I have now shown a few entries either side Wm Redman for comparison of handwriting for word before vault

Totally unable to fathom the word before vault in this burial record.

Lovely to discover that their is a vault but this name does not appear in the readable names that the church lists on vaults/tombstones in the churchyard unfortunately

I saw the Lib Dems in Govt as the minor partner in coalition Govt stopping worst excesses of t ories & everything getting worse once T ories were in Govt on their own.

2 Lib Dem councils nominated for award for top councils in the country - haven’t checked if there is another one in list

A historical view of Deal which your Victorian relatives would have recognised. Inherited from my father-in-law Deal born & bred as were his direct ancestors back to early Georgian period.

1975 Referendum -super majority for Remain

2016 Referendum- not even a strictly 52% win for Leave but 51,9% -shouldn’t have been enough to change the status quo

But here we are 9 years later not in EU but poll after poll shows more people want to #RejoinEU with a greater majority than 51.9%Leave
June 6, 2025 at 7:05 AM
Over 2/3rds of those who voted in 1975 voted for Remain -a super majority

This EU plaque has disappeared from Royal William Yard Plymouth

There is a whole lot of plaques listing companies who helped with the restoration that has appeared at the entrance to Royal William Yard but zero mention of the EU

Rewriting history is wrong

Plymouth did vote Leave by quite a large margin but Plymouth did receive sums of EU money

I did find this plaque at Royal William yard but it no longer exists which is removing history which is wrong.

I have found other signs around Plymouth with the EU symbol on it.

When I was a kid in 1950’s a birthday card put in the post was delivered by the postman same day & had to be hidden

Roll on to 2025 & a card takes 24 days to actually be delivered to the house today.

I was working on my family tree reading newspaper articles relating to relatives & came downstairs to discover that the town where I now live have beaten Liverpool in the FA cup

Extremely well down to Plymouth Argyle

This is the very font that the nephew of a 3rd gt grandfather’s was baptised in St Budeaux

By sheer chance it is in the church that Sir Francis Drake was married in back in 16C
