Gotta keep up the momentum-
A dig through my fabric stash reveals a lot of 3ish yard pieces that could, maybe, probably, make a kirtle. But not the big sleeves I want, too.
The burgundy-red linen center top is that. My first target. I have pre-cut sleeves that could go with.

Gotta keep up the momentum-

I know I said Spanish and then posted only Italian inspo images. I know.
But I would not survive Spanish fashion. Sewing it or wearing it. So my Balerean merchant stock persona can wear scandalous Italian high fashion, like every other Spanish noblewoman who's given the chance to!

What I want: two each new chemises and kirtles. Colors, big sleeves! Natural fabrics!
But fabric is the limiting factor, of course. I don't have good fabric for chemises, or a good excuse to order it with the budget. My serger is in storage, and I'm not a hand-sewing fiend, so it'll be slow going.
