My sister is graduating highschool... Why do I feel ancient already...?

Hot take: All poets are either really overconfident or hate poetry with a burning fire, and yet are still a poet. There is no in between. (I fall on the hatred end of the scale)

Whenever I try to write a song, I always end up with a weirdly paced poem because I have no rhythm and suck at musical instruments. But I yearn for songs! Unfair that I am musically ungifted...

This is probably about as barebones as a meme can get, but it's my first attempt at making one, so I feel a little justified. Also, I'm getting into the X-Men / Marvel fandom now I guess? My brother's boyfriend suggested it to me and I just finished X-Men first class.
