I was incredibly fortunate to see Frankie the Flamingo on the day she hatched. She was from day one a super strong character. Wishing her luck on her journey, and love to all at Paradise Park.

This morning our young flamingo Frankie managed to take flight from Paradise Park in Hayle despite having clipped wing feathers. Last seen near Porthtowan at 10.15am. Staff are out searching the area and would welcome any sightings. Call 01736 753365, email info@paradisepark.org.uk or comment below.

Managed to see the Lesser yellowlegs on the riverbank behind Tesco, and opposite the flats, in Truro. I was pointed in the right direction, and I pointed others that way as I left.
Do try and see it if you can, such a lovely bird.
