If someone told me "hey before you play Danganronpa V3, you should know the whole thing is a TV show and the characters are contestants who had their memories wiped and given scripted identities and backstories that ultimately don't matter," I don't think I'd need the rest of the game for context

No game is perfect, so play it as it is once it's done! That's how we did it before digital distribution 🙂

No, I'm with you, I think people have this dumb idea that if game isn't still being updated that it's "dead" when it's just fucking finished, meanwhile everyone is saying that they love feature creep; I don't want to keep going back to a million games, I want to get the full experience first time
