Our Development Squad are halfway through their first season together and, with several players having stepped up to first team, not to mention sitting top of their league, it's going rather well.

Yesterday, in Halifax, a plaque was unveiled to the memory of Andrew Watson, the first black international football player. His mother, Hannah Rose, was Guyanese, born into slavery. His father, Peter Miller Watson was born in Orkney, of a prominent landowning family. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
