I recall Sandy Pappas in the early 1980s when I was in the Farmer Labor Assn and Paul Wellstone was organizing with farmers. Sandy was always ‘for the people.’ Great public servant - incl helped ensure the MN public pension plans remained solid financially for non-elected public servants.
