#JimmyCarter led the eradication efforts against the Guinea worm, a debilitating parasitic worm. A few years ago, I stitched the worm emerging from a skin blister while being wound onto a stick, which is the traditional treatment. News links in comments. #sciart 🐡

Duct system for the non-lactating side is finished. All that’s left is the lactating side. I’d originally thought about putting in adipose tissue but I’m not sure now. Thoughts? #sciart 🐡
