Every summer, for several weeks, rhinoceros #beetles crawl down our chimney into the basement, only to be rescued and taken outside. Why?? The chimney is 3+ stories tall with blazing southern exposure. It is neither cool nor light-emitting. Bluesky #insect geniuses, please help with this mystery.
