Another achievement , published last year in @science.org ! @valeroche.bsky.social lab @igbmc.bsky.social, and collaborators @ibensens.bsky.social @bcmfromthelabs.bsky.social solved the first structure of E.coli DNA gyrase recognizing a DNA cross-over, using #streptavidin affinity grids !

We are pleased to highlight this article published by @gruberlab.bsky.social. At DCI, F. Roisne Hamelin and collaborators used electron microscopy — and in particular our streptavidin affinity grids — to reveal the mechanism by which Wadjet binds to the plasmid to initiate loop extrusion.

New preprint: Using #CryoEM, our #Streptavidin grids @IGBMC, and MD-simulations,@FabioLapenta and co-workers solved near atomic structure of the human Major Vault Protein and analysed its dynamics !
