Another example I recently started working w/ bacterial cultures to express membrane scaffold proteins for nano discs and it’s been a while I did this since my masters so I forgot that e.coli doubles in 20mins until after I induced too late and after a convo w/ my PI… bummed out for a min but

IMO I’ve slowly learned that there are no “failures” in research, only information you gather. Negative data isn’t failure — it just tells you this path isn’t it, and reroutes you to a different story, perspective, or line of thought. What is failure, anyway? Just a new direction
