We’re taught to be in competition - we look askance at someone new, wonder what we’ll lose if they win, but we stretch a smile over our fear.

It seems there’s more casual cruelty than ever before
We’re Wayward & never knowingly cruel, but in these times, avoiding strangers seems safest
I’m all for protecting our peace, but the only remedy for hate is understanding
