Finally time for another character bio! Meet Athena, Kimberly and Tariq's more "robot-y" sister unit!

Out of the three Anamali siblings, Athena doesn't get out as much as her sister and brother does, and never really had the desire to. As such, she's retained a lot more of her original programming than them, and is much less expressive and emotive. She's a very robot-y robot to put it simply. A lot of things are more difficult for her, so when she doesn't feel strongly about something or other, she'll often just keep quiet and not say much, especially around strangers. Her primary assignment at the Museum of Wonders is teaching about environmentalism. Stuff like reuse/reduce/recycle and all that, so naturally she can be rather opinionated about some things, primarily how other people act and how their choices affect those around them. She often gets into scuffles with her siblings about their crazy antics, being both annoyed at their fascination for trouble and worried for their well-being. Believe it or not, she's probably closer to Kimberly than Tariq is. She confides in Kimberly when she needs comfort or someone to be around, and just wants her to stick to the right path. It's hard not to see her as a stick in the mud, but she just wants everyone to be safe in the end.

Sorry for the lack of updates, but we're finally back with some new stuff! Here's some brand new bios for our two human-droid lovebirds, Izzy and Rei!

For a teenage robot, Izzy has much more power and strength than you'd expect. She can lift things up to four times her weight (including her girlfriend) and can win most brawls she finds herself in very easily, which she ends up in... quite a lot. She doesn't have the best grasp of her anger levels, resulting in a temper that raises very quickly and gets very violent, needing her friends to ground her and calm her down when it gets to that point. When she is in a good mood, she's very energetic and friendly, with a big sense of humor that she can almost make any situation funny, even if it's at the expense of others when her temper raises a bit. Originally built as a sports training robot, she has a ton of athletic skills and can pick up almost any sport with ease, down to the smallest intricate mechanics of the game. Once she was adopted by the Lopez family, she gained more of her own sense of self and learned a bunch of stuff, including how to speak fluent Brazilian Portugese, which she loves using around her friends that DON'T speak it. Always with her favorite plush in hand, Rei is a soft and gentle bot who has more to her than she lets on. While the rest of her friends might be pretty talkative and loud, Rei takes a much more quiet approach. In fact, it's very rare she speaks at all. She usually keeps to gestures and body language to communicate, with the occasional small sentence if needed. However, she posseses much better problem solving skills and knows what to do in most given situations, showing a very strong amount of intelligence and knowledge that lets her help her friends, even without words. Designed as a special project at the Shinonome manufacturing company to test a fully Robodroid family unit, now developing her own social life and learning more and more about the outside world. She soon found another Robodroid she latched onto, being her girlfriend Izzy. She sticks by her side and goes to her first when she has an idea about something, and always has her back. She might not seem threatening, but mess with her sweetheart and you're in for a rude awakening.

In comparison to Kimberly, Tariq is much more of a loose cannon. He can often come across as snarky and crass, liking to fool around and get into his own special kind of trouble, whatever makes the day be more fun and not one big slog for him. He's the one to get Kimberly and the others into crazy schemes that usually start with an idea he doesn't think through before running head first into whatever it may be. Even with all that said, he never really means ill intent or harm for anyone and just wants to make his life more interesting and have some fun with everyone. He also seems to have a natural indifference to authority and being told what to do when he isn' t at the Museum of Wonders doing his programmed assignments. As such, he tends to idolize some of their older friends the kids tend to hang out wiht around Orbit Towers, especially Lloyd and Brooklyn, since in his perspective, their more... unorthodox and reckless ways of having a good time appeal to him more. Even then, at the end of the day he still keeps the heart of gold that all of the droids built by Wonder have in their programming, he just has his own unique way of expressing it.

Kimberly is a big bundle of positive energy in every concievable way. She brings her own brand of hyperfixative joy to everyone she meets, whether it's in her station at the Museum of Wonders or at home at Orbit Towers, ready to teach whoevers willing to hear about nature stuff, her favorite game she just finished playing, or even something as mundane as a cool rock she found on the sidewalk. She takes great pride and excitement in her passions for gathering information and storing it in her big computer brain and always has a fact on-hand, whether it's helpful or not. Despite her super peppy demeanor, she also has a more sassy and mischievious side to herself, although it's all in good fun and she keeps her heart of gold at all times, even if she's not the brightest when she gets thrown in crazy or bad situations, usually letting her brother Tariq take the wheel on those kinds of things, which in of itself is a bad idea. She's never afraid to be herself and spread her happiness everywhere she goes though, and is always happy to make friends and get to know new people and new places, starting her new journeys with a simple "Hi! I'm Kimberly!"

Here's a comparison of their models, old to new! A lot of the changes were to bring them more in line with the other models I've been making recently and to ease the animation and posing processes. Much better if you ask me!
