So consider the positives of having these services availible to others before alienating a subset of people for offering a service in our niche hobby.

My first time and only two times doing dm for hire was for a family who hadent played in 15 years and wanted to introduce thier kids to the hobby. So I taught the kids how to play and they crossed chasms and killed a troll and asked for more. The parents were grateful to have someone who knew. Cont.

But dm for hire services only raise the value of the hobby in general by giving those who dont have the time or expertise access to talented GM's so that they can try a new system or simply play for the first time in mant years.

I hate ads and self-promotion in inproper places as much as the next guy and I dont think that dming as a full time job, especially through a platform which scoops a percentage of your earnings, is a sustainable or comfortable occupation.

First off, love your enthusiasm. Secondly as someone who has dmed for megar pay (40 bucks a 3 hour sesh) it takes a lot of prepperation, specialized knowledge and patience to dm for people you don't know.

Hard to be mad at your boss when you ARE the boss

Rot black sludge, give them 3 vaugely loyal hirelings or have them unlocked as prisoners in the dungeon or let thier character improve 3 times and have thier pick of weapons and armor.
