Microscope arrived (SW380T).
The eyepiece camera swivels around a little too much so may have to find a way to fix that.

The old one is fine-ish, but it's older than me and I can't really fit a camera to it.
New one is a Swift SW380T - should be fine for home lab stuff... so it's haematology smears all round on Christmas day!

There's a lot of chatter about The Open University's new BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences - I've enrolled this year and hope to share my experience with it.
Most people are worried about the lack of IBMS accreditation, and there are BMSs who say it's not worth doing if it's not accredited. 1/9
