This will absolutely kill biomedical research at academic institutions, full stop. This is a full frontal affront on scientists. Lower indirect costs by greater than 50% will either force institutes to cut costs elsewhere or severely cut back on faculty appointments. This is bananas.

Saw this posted on a once innocuous meme page on Instagram, advertising Jenner Furst’s documentary “Thank you, Dr. Fauci” where he ties baseless claims that SARS-CoV-2 was an engineered virus that was released in a lab leak and covered up by Dr. Fauci. He also espouses the debunk OPV AIDS theory.
