It's like, I just got so insanely stressed from commissions that it burned me out to an extent where I'm still feeling it

and I'm trying to pick up other fun things in the meantime like doing coding projects or con photography but like, no one seems to take much interest when I try sharing those

all good, it's fun when we do get to talk haha

It was especially true when I offered commissions

Sometimes it was obvious when people were just trying to be my friend to try and get a commission. But the fact that messages got less frequent after I stopped offering them just sucks.

Yeah I really wanted to do BLFC this year. But my local con was 2 weeks before and also I have to use a week of PTO for BLFC ;;

Yeah, I guess it’s sorta like, the conversations I do sometimes have with others are fun, but they’re so few and far between that it’s hard to feel like a genuine friend

But I also don’t want conversations to feel forced for the sake of talking either

I dunno, Anime Central is hosted in the same venue and they have 36,000+ attendees

Although I haven’t done no clue how they handle that

Getting messages from 10 people saying we should meet up

Actually only getting to see maybe 2 of them for 5 minutes each
