Sorry for the delay in responding, automating posting to GBIF hasn't been discussed as part of the scope of the project but I could ask and see if there are any partners looking into it.

Hi Kenn, Detection was trained using a Machine Learning model (YOLOv8) which is an object detection, segmentation, and classification model, and the images used to train the model were annotated using the ROBOFLOW platform. If you need more details I can get you in touch with the partner directly.
