No. But they did play "I'm OK," which was definitely their most deep cut.

I think they know. It is getting better--TSO is also coming here this year (I'm pretty sure their first trip to Eastern Idaho).

I mean, I would have rather have seen them in the late '70s or '80s, when they were at the top of their form and the original singers could still sing at 100%, but it was still a great experience seeing Styx last night and I regret not seeing Journey when they came to town, even without Steve Perry.

Tommy Shaw and James Young were both playing (Tommy Shaw isn't technically an original member, but he was there early--before I was born--so I count him as an original).

Wow. Crazy.

No, but 3 of the original band are still there.

Anyway, take a break from doomscrolling, the fall of American, and the daily grind to do things you love. You deserve to have joy.

I haven't been to Target to years, and as an introvert this just confirms I won't be back. I hate it when employees randomly greet me.

Great shows. My only complaint with Chief of War was the last 5 minutes (and only because they could've kept it pretty PG-13 otherwise). Also, to quote a character from Foundation, "F@ck ICE."

We need a concrete plan in order to ensure the continuance of democracy. Truth and reconciliation trials. Finish reconstruction. Universal healthcare. Get rid of the billionaire class by taxing excess wealth. Get money out of elections. Increase the size of the Supreme Court and stop their bribery.

Parchment paper is better for 95% of things I previously used aluminum foil for.

I'm descended from one of J.S.'s wives and I didn't know he was a polygamist until well into adulthood. My parents never told me much about my ancestors...

I think the pendelum's finally swung more to the center--where teens are taught to respect Emma but also not taught that Joseph Smith's polygamy is an anti-Mormon lie.

Idaho has part-time legislators. They don't get paid much. So most of them end up being independently wealthy, retired, and/or extremists unqualified for decent jobs elsewhere. Not great.

50/50 chance at the H-1B lottery? Don't I wish. (Looks at date of cartoon--2008.) Oh, wow. That must have been a better, simpler time.

Yeah, not as good as previous seasons.

It's so hard to really take time off as a business owner. Even when it's the weekend or official vacation it's still on your mind and often requires your attention.

But I know a lot of families rely on it. Families with low income, individuals with disabilities, people in between jobs. I know it can be hard to ask for help, but if you're a mutual and you'll be harmed by the pause in SNAP, please reach out to me directly. I would like to help.
