Yesterday I had a really rough friend breakup. Today my lillies bloomed. Something I would normally share with this friend. Platonic love lost hurts in its own special section of the heart.

I am walking slowly toward the longest sabbath (in the tradition of Tricia Hersey & Stephanie Perry) that I've ever taken. Doing less is not easy, as wild as it sounds. With all the well-being "work" I've done over the last seven years, the pacing of my life is just starting to feel more human.
