I am mostly a sponge. I don't particularly do many interested things well enough to be interesting to other people, but I like to see what other people are up to.

I don't automatically follow back.
I usually only take one shot per session, but it is absolutely beautiful out here.

Wanted to go to knob, but the roads said go to the closest hill, so I am back at Alpine Valley MI. About an inch of powder over frozen corduroy. Superior day, if you are around, make time to go out. Ninth session.

Another night snowboarding session at mt Holly. Feeling more and more comfy on the lift. Conditions were icy and fast, maybe a little fast for me.

At Holly. Partner in crime is Mia and I almost don't want to count this as a session. Snow is fluff over ice, like typical lower Michigan snow. Not as bad as I expected.

Night session at mt Holly. I wanted to get here an hour earlier, but still a solid session. Main focus was getting on and off the lift as a snowboarder. I am getting better, but my unstrapped heel edge turn sucks. I can toe edge turn, but I can't seem to bring my board heel edge. #7

Crystal mountain. Incredible day, incredibly busy. The snow was absolutely insane, but so was the line.

Hero slush with a tiny bit of ice patches. Mt Holly rocked today.

Hitting some Mt Holly again. With the rain and warm temps, the snow conditions were better than expected.

I am at Alpine Valley Mi today. I love this sport, but everyday it humbles me.

Mt Holly is crazy busy. Switches between ankle deep pow pow and ice.

First day of the year at mt Holly. The snow was like mash potatoes, heavy and slow. I have a new Ride Shadowban. I downsized from my K2 Gateway pop. Seems a lot less forgiving, but in a good way. The nose really wants to engage the turn, even if you don't want to turn.

First day at Pine knob, taken from their web camera. I usually wait a few days before I go out, because I suck too much to handle this.

I forgot about this comic. I have absolutely no idea where I got it from, but I read it anytime I hear about paid protestors.

Didn't get a chance to snowboard today, doing the cardboard classic. Better conditions at Alpine Valley than Mt. Holly, almost Michigan winter, still.

Sweet day at Mt Holly. Day was beautiful, but the snow was pretty icy. Terrible snowboarding conditions.
March 2, 2025 at 12:11 AM
Conditions at pine knob are great. Packed corduroy, 9/10. Session is a 2/10, my old legs just aren't in the mood.
February 19, 2025 at 5:36 PM
Mt Holly is sick af. 10/10 day, easily. Rare pow day.
February 16, 2025 at 4:29 PM
Hitting dead man's hill again. Love it.
February 15, 2025 at 9:28 PM
The schools are racing today at Mt. Holly, so it is busy as heck. 10/10 conditions for Michigan. This is the exact same run I posted in December.
February 10, 2025 at 5:21 PM
Hit up tubing at snow snake ski and golf. The tubing is probably thr best of the three we have done so far. The ski hill is way meh.

Here at Alpine Valley, MI. Ugg. Terrible conditions. Cement slush. Ran up and down the bunny hill 3x, and then decided I can't get my edge in enough to really have fun.

I didn't feel like going, but I went anyways. Solid 8/10 session, but my feels were still 5/10. Couldn't lock on switch, for some reason. Mess up getting off the lift more times than not.

Pine knob was good, mildly icy with some death cookies.

Tubing at hawk Island. Not a bad setup, especially for the price.
