My sadness about Mum was lifted temporarily this morning by a visit to the Darfield dairy. I asked for a single scoop ice-cream and wasn't really paying attention until the proprietor handed me this monstrosity. I said "How am I going to eat that? It's as big as my head!" And he replied "lick fast."
