My current mini project, and they are already going better than the archer did. Also, my first drawf characters.

This archer isn't my best work. Issues with the mini, like no features to the face, clunky hands, and I had issues with the green paint going on. There are parts that I like, and the back looks really good :)

A couple of Ghouls ready to hit the table. These where a quick fun little project with the skin based in ghoul flesh, highlights with cold flesh and good old fashioned nulin oil to blend everything. I liked adding the old blood to the bandages as well, like wounds they had before they turned.

My Eidolon Possessed Sacred Statue is complete, and I really like how the cracks turned out for this mini. I also used some of the army painter speed paints 2.0, and I got to admit I am a fan of them. I struggled a bit with how to add depth to the mini, and I think the speed paints helped.

I have finally dipped my toe into full-on slapchop. Is this a perfect execution of slapchop? No, i can see where I needed to work at the dry vrushing a little more in the future. But 45 min total time and five cilors for a table ready mini, means I am adding this to my tool kit.

I am making the most of my three day weekend by working on multiple minis to put the tiniest dent in my grey hoard.

My current WIP, the Eidolon Possessed Sacred Statue.. I am trying to outline all the cracks in the statue first. Then, when I use contrast paints, the cracks will stand out nicely when finished. I think I may lay down some earthshade randomly to see if that gives some variety in the stone.

I was really happy with how the flaming skull ended up, and I was just going to paint it red when I thought I couls do better.

My Critical Role skeleton centaurs are finally painted and ready to terrorize the heroes. Painted with two different paints to see the difference. On was Skeleton horde contrast the other Boney Matter speed paint. Used other colors for shading and highlights.

Green dragon wrymling and it's elven "servant," and I am way happier with how the wrymling truned out than I am the elf. I like how the eyes and hair turned out, and the shirt is okay... the pants and boots kind of blend into each other.

New paints for the new year. I love using speed/contrast paints when working on a project. Now that I have a full spectrum of new paints, I might try and do a speed paint only project. Also, I gut two free brushes and a palette when I ordered.

I am especially happy with how thenwong membranes turned out. I wanted to break up the greens and thought brownish would work, and it did.

Dragon wrymling is complete, and I couldn't be happier with it. The colors all came together and matched what I was imagined.

Finally spilled my first pot of paint. I've been doing this for three years and had to spill a contrast paint :D floor and desk is stained but can live with it.

The wing webbing is done, and moving on to the body. The way this model looks the top and bottom have armor plating that I am doing in a darker green. Then, the body and wings will be a lighter green, hoping to get this done during my winter break.

Currently working on a green dragon wrymling and having fun with the wings. I based the wing membranes with army painter "Necortic Flesh" then did a pretty liberal wash with citadel "Seraphim Sepia" and then dry brused with the Base color. The inspiration was rotting undergrowth.

My Flumphs are done and not the greatest transition from the yellow to the blue/green color. I had to finally call it good enough. I'm still trying to work through the wet blending between two colors. Painting is a journey of learning and trying new things. Hopefully, the next time is smoother.

8 of 8 new minis bought in the last two weeks, which at this point is like 4 weeks ago. I've picked up a couple of the framesworks modeles, but I just haven't put one together or painted one yet. The gorgon looks like fun with a lot of possibilities. Let's see how long it takes to get to it.

8 of 8 new minis bought in the last two weeks, which at this point is like 4 weeks ago. I've picked up a couple of the framesworks modeles, but I just haven't put one together or painted one yet. The gorgon looks like fun with a lot of possibilities. Let's see how long it takes to get to it.
7 of 8 new minis bought in the last two weeks. I've never heard of this creature and had to find it in my monsters manuals... I picked it up mainly because of the interesting lines of the mini and the interesting colors that could be used

6 of 8 new minis bought in the last two weeks. This time, an owl bear. I've been looking for an owl bear for a while and was happy to finally find this little fellow to paint. I have to admit that I am a bit intimidated with this one and trying to make it look good. Should be an interesting!!
