Haha! Remember the big-eyed waif art of the 60s? It was everywhere. It kinda creeped me out.

I remember he showed up on an annular “Ring of Fire” eclipse day. He’s otherworldly good. Saturday, October 14, 2023. I was wishing we were in Albuquerque that day.

It’s the paper cutters that horrify me. A small guillotine was in every grade school classroom. 1 for every 30 kids, in the largest concentration of kids. I loved the sound of it.
I don’t recall any accidents, but surely there were some.

The study was the first shingles vaccine, but data from Shingrex looks as good or better. I’ve had both kinds so i guess the sweet relief of madness is not for me.

they haven’t yet said “Our goal with all this is to kill off roughly half of you, starting with the old, the disabled, the poor. Those darker than the top two rows on Elon’s scientific chart should consider self-deporting or self-immolation, with our thanks.” Yet.

We used to go to Dunkin after the bars closed and eat hot donuts with the baker. And often, the cops. It was a sort of a pastry detente.

The book follows two interweaving storylines, one in Ancient Eurasia and one in the present day. The story connects dueling perfumers in Seattle, Paris and New Orleans to a bottle of incomparable perfume created by two unlikely but defiant lovers of the past who seek immortality.

I’ve been sleeping in recliners for years, both before/after a big back surgery. (Cant lay flat.)
Look up “Cuddler chair” i get mine at Rural King under 400$. On my second one. I love them. Tan microfiber is better than camo fabric imo.

His depictions of weather gripped me. “The sky was the color of Edgar Allen Poe’s nightshirt.”
His descriptions of the rain in Seattle and the climate of New Orleans are sublime.

Remember the slogan ‘Better Living Through Chemistry’?
This one is mostly on 3M. Teflon, scotchguard, fire retardants etc, a class of things that do not biodegrade.
