Landlords are just taking the piss now
Add for a unit Description. Hi I’m listing this unit located in Dandenong. With 1 large bedroom and storage room with a bathroom and kitchen. And a living area. For rent is per week is $400. We are only giving for couples, no animals, no children, it’s available from 17th August. It’s has ac/cooler included electric cook top no gas electric oven basically whole unit is eco friendly.

So Medicare made a change that took place on 1 July 2025 where they're now no longer covering surveillance mammograms, ultrasounds, PET & CT scans for high risk cancer patients. I found this out when I went to make appointments - that I had to immediately cancel because I can't afford them (the out of pocket cost adds up to thousands). For someone that is sent for scans every 6 months this is scary.
