"Members Only" videos have to be the lamest thing about YouTube nowadays. I've been seeing them more and more recently, and only from people who have small audiences.

It seems a bit counter intuitive to building a viewer base imo.

Getting past a toner's DRM by going into the printer's service menu and resetting the value for the toner cartridge's capacity wasn't something I expected to ever do.

I've recently obtained a full loose set of MSX•FAN Magazine floppy disks and scanned them as I haven't seen proper high detail scans (1200DPI) of these on the internet.

I don't know if there's been a change in mentality in Japan with regard to religious symbols in games, or if Sega was aware that people were going to import its console, but in the JPN version of the MD Mini 2, Shining in the Darkness includes the changes made for the Western ver. ~30 years earlier.
On the left, a temple with a cross (image taken from the manual for the Japanese version of the game, published in 1991). On the right, the same temple but with a circular symbol instead of a cross.

Yes it's entirely in Japanese, and yes you probably need an old computer to run it, but I thought this was cool albeit niche.

I swear this is the 3rd time I've gotten a dead/malfunctioning hard drive from a seller on eBay.

Nobody seems to know how to ship HDDs. The one that arrived in the mail today was shipped bare in a cardboard box without an anti-static bag or any padding whatsoever.

Pixel artists! 🗣

When posting your art on here, if you don't want it completely mangled, export at 16x the original size (or a multiple of 8) because JPEG processes blocks of 8 pixels. At 16x, the artifacts are very minimal, and similar to JPEG quality of 100%, even with a quality of 20%!
