What a strange artifact. Makes me really really want to watch the original ANGELS EGG anime because the animation here is beautiful, and I want to see it in the original context. The live action footage is like if you made a Fallout move for $3.75.

This is my second Boetticher after SEVEN MEN FROM NOW, and goddamn this is good stuff. Randolph Scott rules, just fucking rules, and him going back and forth with Richard Boone is fantastic. Great slimeball Henry Silva performance as well. Just a fantastic western

If someone didn’t know, you could reasonably guess that this was some kind of Sonny Chiba spy riff, guess again fuckers this is WOLF GUY, where Sonny Chiba is the last of a clan of werewolves and the J-CIA want to harvest his blood to make super soldiers.

This was really fucking good. Some GREAT 70’s NYC here, and Yusaka Matsuda and George Kennedy are great together. A little long but all these different story threads come together in very bleak ways. Really loved this
