I see it evolving due to environmental pressures and reproductive patterns in populations. Humans who don’t live near pollution or natural disaster sites, have the highest tolerance for toxins, aren’t killed by political polarization, and have a lot of children will be the fittest.

My absolute favorite artistic activity is burying the lead so that not even I can find it. That's how I keep my artistic integrity--it's a double blind study--even I don't know what is going on, and I like it better that way.

That's how I came to call my RPG 'Leaks'. Leaks is based on characters I designed like the Giant Sand Worm, who bursts through the ground, scaring everyone, and then participates in conversation with tiny creatures by reciting immense quotes, and earth-shaking puns.

"Sometimes somebody would say in his presence, 'Excuse me, I have to take a leak.' This was a way of saying that the speaker intended to drain liquid wastes from his body through a valve in his lower abdomen. And Trout would reply..., 'Where I come from, that means you're about to steal a mirror.'"

I decided I wanted a fish name because of a character in Kurt Vonnegut's books named Kilgore Trout. Kilgore Trout wrote scifi novels and seemed to walk between dimensions, between stories. He was an important character, also comic relief, and a vehicle for KV's story ideas,

And I decided on Billy Halibut when thinking of a good stage name...

Chordata all have a notochord (become vertebra after embryo develops), a hollow dorsal nerve cord (brain and spinal cord), an endostyle or thyroid, pharyngeal slits/pouches (become our face after embryo), and a post-anal tail (tailbone in humans).

We share a common ancestor with fish, called Chordates. Having a spinal cord is one of the big identifiers of the Chordata phylum (phylum is below kingdom, and above class).

This artistic performance persona is a perfect foil to Billy D., who has stayed the same for decades. I like science fiction, evolutionary biology, and Deep Listening™.
I tend to think of the world in terms of population dynamics. I tend to think of humans as a terrestrial species with a spinal cord

that is missing pieces. When I make choices for my brand, I like them to create no pattern whatsoever--a pattern woven of a broken pattern, discontinued, and replaced by another pattern. And so on. That way no brand can develop, and I can stay unknown, even to myself. I become someone new every day!

We all use various identities throughout our lives. Each new social group calls for each individual to craft a unique social version of themselves that reflects in the other homo sapiens in that social group.
So, I, Billy Halibut, do the same, but with artistic choices. An identity puzzle of mystery
