The Gram's a good one if you follow a lot of artists. Half the time I open bluesky, I just scroll through a bunch of cool art. It does miss posts sometimes, but I don't really understand why. Maybe certain file types?

Yeah, it mostly just talks about how they survived there and them reflecting on the situation. There is this one line I wish they worked into the movie since it really sticks with me.

What did you think about the middle bit in the church? It's kinda weird because in the book that section is VERY slice of life. Not much happens besides two kids eating baloney and living in a church for a while. So, I was super curious what they'd do with it in a movie first time I saw it

They can replace workers, but they can't replace lower spenders. Think back to what the whiplash of covid did to the global economy. Supply lines were messed up for years, governments across the world got flipped; shocks to the system break it. Removing tons of spenders forever would be a disaster

Sure, but capitalism can't function without an under class. Although most spending now is done by the rich, our lower wages and spending are necessary to keep the system stable. Eventually they'll need UBI to simulate a real economy if nothing else

For context why I'm saying that, they'd need to flip every single seat and not lose any to punish him without Republican help. Meanwhile, the House historically usually flips on the ruling party.

Realistically, while the Dems will probably take the House in the midterms, there's no way they'll get an impeachable majority in the Senate. Meaning the only real hope is for him to pull a Nixon and leave on his own. All I've got there is he does seem exceptionally scared/embarrassed of this one

I can't quite remember the wording, but that reminds me of that old quote that the art is part of the grammar/writing style of comic, not separate from it. It's a visual medium, like movies. You can communicate a lot with a few wordless frames, or lose the information entirely with a bad layout
