to keep my sanity though this bullshit going on politically, I've spent a better part of the last month resurrecting and rebuilding this Wanhao Duplicator 6 3D Printer from 2015. this thing was never intended to move much beyond 40mm/s now it's doing 120mm/s + printing.

did a thing over the weekend and finally bought the vehicle I've wanted since it was released. lemme just say that I'll never go back to an ICE car for my commute vehicle again.

Can I just point out that more museums should be sensory friendly? We were visiting family in Bentonville/Rogers Arkansas and decided to visit the Amazeum yesterday and they had a map showing the different levels and types of possible sensory issues throughout and even provided ear muffs for folks!

as I like to say. Just because the @creality3d.bsky.social ender 3 came out in 2018 and isn't as sexy as the new machines, doesn't mean it isn't capable of doing some amazing prints.

Ender 3 V2, running Klipper firmware. this is a mild speed bump of 100mm a second and 3500mm a second of acceleration.
still tuning it out and need to swap the glass bed for a PEI spring steel bed. then it should be capable of 200mm as second print speed at 4500mm a second of acceleration.
