The fear isn't that tech oligarchs are on the brink of creating a 'powerful superintelligence' they can control.' Tech oligarchs have a proven lack of morality, exhibiting enough greed to make large donations as well as bend their collective knees to aspiring authoritarians. Fear is warranted.

This is a kakistocracy, and everytime the FBI, DOJ or DHS uses social media, it just becomes more obvious. Trump thinks the AG is his personal attorney and that the DOJ is his personal army of fixers, following every crime with a broom and every document with a shredder.

Shapiro told on himself. Treyvon was not a prowler or doing anything remotely resembling prowling, and he was killed in broad daylight by a bigot who ignored a cop's orders. This misleading comparison simply exposes Shapiro's bigotry, and his inability to understand someone else's empathy.

This is another great reason for mainstream media to simply stop attending Trump's press briefings. They're all just a partisan firehose of misinformation that insults or threatens anyone with a serious question and refuses to provide factual answers. Seriously MSM, abandon him.

Good or bad aren't the relevant defining metrics. Whether the comments are true or false is what matters. Trump wouldn't know that because those two things are indistinguishable on whatever planet he's living on. There's a reason the ladies at IHIP call him a 'titty baby.'

If the SCOTUS gets this wrong, I can see the next Democratic administration launching impeachments against the conservative justices who made Trump a king, and female voters into second class broodmares.

Someone needs to tell the Trump regime and ICE that doing this type of bullshit is a violation of the Third Geneva Convention. GC III, Art. 13 requires the humane treatment of all war prisoners, including shielding them from public curiosity. Using images of them for propaganda is a war crime.

The prosecution's claims were proven to be false once the security cam footage was released. She didn't help him escape, she just wouldn't allow an arrest without a bench warrant in her courtroom, which is the law. She'll be back.

Believe it when I see it. Trump won't abandon a loyalist because it makes his endorsement look like a mistake and his administration look incompetent. So until Hegseth contradicts or personally insults Trump, he likely isn't going anywhere.

Aside from liberal Justices, I'm pretty sure it's mostly Roberts who regrets giving presidents so much power. Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch, Coney Barrett and Kavanaugh will join him once a Democratic president begins impeaching them for lying about Roe v Wade during their confirmations.

Aside from liberal Justices, I'm pretty sure it's mostly Roberts who regrets giving presidents so much power. Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch, Coney Barrett and Kavanaugh will join him once a Democratic president begins impeaching them for lying about Roe v Wade during their confirmations.
Perhaps paying Elon Musk $8 million per day to shut down every regulatory agency investigating his businesses costs too much to offset DOGE cutting the phone lines at the Social Security Administration and firing veteran crisis counselors?

Trump doesn't understand what a deficit is or what a tariff does. Australia is a perfect example, where the US has a trade surplus, but Trump imposed tariffs anyways. The last second reasoning behind it? 'Our surplus isn't big enough.' Incompetence on this scale should be a slam dunk impeachment.

My suspicion as well. You can only tank the economy so severely for so long before the donor class watching their stock portfolios burn, step in and jerk the leash. Trump and DOGE already lost independants and moderate cons. Losing the donors will severely crack the regime's armor.
