The other night I got to be a part of this very cool event for the Life After Cars book tour. Thank you to the authors Doug Gordon and Sarah Goodyear for inviting me! Everyone should buy their book and have their minds opened to the tyranny of car culture and the toll it takes on all of us.

Since #StrangeNewWorlds had an in person writers room in Hollywood (bc of covid that wasn’t until s3) I’ve been biking there. Recently I started a gig at Netflix feature animation and I bike to the Empire Center campus via Metrolink. It’s a great way to start the day.

A lot of rich people spent a lot of money to stop a mayor who would prioritize working people for once. But the most populous city in America wanted him anyway and won!

Wow #TronAres was amazing. As someone who’s written for the franchise and as someone who just loves movies I thought it was a transportive cinematic experience. Four discs! 🥏🥏🥏🥏

S4 won't come out for a while but a 4 min clip was just released at #NYCC and I am so excited for you all to see the rest of this ep AND the whole season that I may need to seal myself in an isolation chamber in order to remain 🤐. #StrangeNewWorlds

As a writer, I strive to always relfect our world somehow, esp in fantasy and sci fi. In Kipo, I wrote about a fictional dystopian Los Angeles that LGBTQ+ kids are very much a part of, bc it reflects the real LA we based it on. LGBTQ+ kids exist. Trans kids exist. That shouldn't be controversial.

Amazing news regarding Barbara Marques's case. Still work to be done, but this is very encouraging.

Thank you @chu.house.gov . Let's all join her and demand that ICE follow the law. Barbara Marques has legal protection against deportation while the court rules reviews her case.

UPDATE: Barbara Marques, legally married to a U.S. citizen, is scheduled to be deported TOMORROW, even though a court has ruled that her case be reopened. Call Louisiana Reps, esp if you LIVE in Louisiana, to demand that she be afforded due process and kept here while her case is reviewed.
